The story and purpose behind The Culebra Insider Guide, created to help visitors experience Culebra through the eyes of a lifelong resident.
Culebra is much more than a destination.
It is a place of extraordinary natural beauty, rich history, strong community values, and unforgettable experiences.
As a resident and granddaughter of one of Culebra's founding families, I feel deeply connected to the island's history, culture, and traditions. I have had the privilege of exploring its beaches, learning its history, listening to the stories of my fellow residents, and creating countless memories with family and friends.
I created The Culebra Insider Guide to share those experiences with others.
My goal is simple:
To help visitors enjoy Culebra responsibly, appreciate its history, support local businesses, respect its natural resources, and discover the hidden treasures that make this island so special.
This guide is not only about where to go.
