Resaca Beach

I first visited Resaca during a school field trip led by my science teacher, Josefina Vélez. It remains one of my most vivid memories of Culebra.

The ocean displayed shades of blue that seemed impossible to recreate. The sand was soft, powdery, and pristine. The sound of the waves echoed across the shoreline, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.

The hike back became an adventure of its own. At one point, our group became disoriented, and even the guides lost the trail. By then, those waiting for us had begun to worry. Yet we kept moving forward until we finally found our way back.
